            Thrift Shop

            Our Thrift Shop is based at the Tin Hut on Newbury Road, East Hendred, just past St Augustine's Church. We are open every Friday (except bank holidays) from 1pm until 4pm and on the first Saturday in them month from 11am until 3pm.
            We sell clothes, bric-a-brac, books, toys, small items of furniture and even locally made jams & preserves. We are always pleased to receive donations of the same as we have a constant turnover of stock. Please call Val Prior on 01235 833973 for delivery and collection details. Unfortunately we cannot accept or sell electrical items.
            Come and join our friendly group, pick up a bargain or just enjoy a cup of tea, slice of homemade cake and chat you might even  make new friends!

            We would like to dedicate our web site to the memory of Barbara Riley who left our merry band in 2009. We miss this fine lady but do feel that she is still with us and watching over us.

            Opening Hours:

            We are open every Friday from 1pm to 4pm.  We are also open the first Saturday in the month 11am to 3pm.  

            Rags & Recycling!

            Any items that we do not or can not sell at the Thrift Shop is recycled as rags - we receive money for this which means that we can still make money from it - every penny of which is used to benefit good causes.  We also collect stamps for the Guide Dogs for the Blind.  We can also recycle printer cartridges, broken jewellery& foreign coins.
