Royal Wedding 29th April 2011
The event maybe over but the village is still buzzing! A great day was had by all and the organising committee are thankful that the weather held.

The slide show will be running at Champs Chapel (Open Sundays 2.30pm - 4.30pm) for the next couple of weeks -

Our auction of wonderful knitted royal memorabilia raised £520 for the Community First Response (defibrillator). Thanks to Ali Eyston for being our auctioneer.

Our Bride & Groom
Don't they look lovely? Our bride was Alice Gold and our groom Tom Roberts. Our thanks to them both, it was quite a lot to ask of these young people and they did a good job.
We have added names in the last few editions of The Hoot of people to thank, but we don't want to have missed a single person..... so we just simply say
'Thank You Everyone!'
The crowds may not have matched those in London - but there was an impressive turnout which made the day simply perfect.
We have received so much thanks & praise from those who attended, which is always lovely, but please see the postcard we received from Jo Hawkins - which sums it all up for us!
