Who Are We?
We are a group brought together for the benefit of East Hendred and visitors to the village, through organised events and entertainment, to raise money as support for charities, groups, societies and residents of the area. Not all of our events are run to make money as our main focus is on entertainment and fun for all ages in and around East Hendred and creating an environment where we all gain from combined efforts.
Each year we distribute some of our profits by way of grants to village groups and charities. For details see our 'Grants' page.
After the grants are made the remaining surplus and any interest earned during the year will be invested to form an Endowment. The Endowment is primarily for interest-bearing earning potential, but may, at the discretion of the Committee, be used by East Hendred Entertains for the long-term benefit of the organisation or East Hendred village.
